Kromek Internship
During my time at Kromek, I worked across a variety of design outputs, including LinkedIn image carousels, recruitment videos, and other marketing materials. This role gave me the opportunity to collaborate closely with the marketing team, helping me develop a stronger understanding of how design functions within a real-world marketing environment.
Working in this setting also helped me gain valuable insight into office workflows, communication, and creative processes within a team structure. I had to stay adaptable, as each task required a different approach and often a different platform.
Throughout the role, I worked confidently across Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, alongside Microsoft PowerPoint and Word, developing both technical ability and a more flexible approach to design depending on the brief.

Overview
During my time at Kromek Group, I worked across a wide range of design projects, from presentation decks and exhibition graphics to social media assets and internal communications. The fast-paced nature of the role required adaptability, strong time management, and the ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.
Kromek operates across two distinct divisions: CZT (medical imaging and detection technologies) and CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear solutions for defence and security). To reflect these sectors, design assets were developed using separate visual identities, with blue representing CZT and yellow representing CBRN. This approach ensured employees and stakeholders could easily identify content relevant to their area of work.
Throughout my placement, I created a variety of branded materials, including banners, presentation templates, team graphics, and social media content. Many of these assets were produced in multiple visual variations to suit different departments while maintaining consistency across the wider brand.
Alongside these projects, I also designed a number of social media carousel posts. While some of this work has yet to be published, keep an eye on Kromek’s channels, you may spot some of my recent designs in the near future.
